Example 2 (Favourite Team B): Decimal 1.80 = Fractional 4/5 = American -125. American minus odds indicate how much you need to stake to make ৳100 profit. A ৳200 bet returns a total of ৳360 (৳160 profit).
An example from a limited-overs match in the cricket match winner market: Team A is at odds of 2.10 and Team B at 1.75. A ৳1,000 bet on Team B returns a total of ৳1,750 if Team B wins (৳750 profit); if Team A wins, you lose the full ৳1,000. This is an example only — actual odds change with time, pitch and team conditions.

In-play or live betting on cricket is a different experience. Once the match starts, every wicket, every big over and the run rate during the powerplay cause odds to change rapidly.
